Overview

WitMotion SINDT01-TTL and SINDT02-TTL are compact AHRS inclinometer/tilt sensors designed for horizontal/tilt/angle measurement. Both adopt a MEMS high-precision module, provide Modbus communication, integrate a built-in Kalman filter fusion algorithm for stable outputs, and feature IP67 protection with an aluminum shell. They support 5–36 V wide-range power, max 200 Hz return rate, and free PC software for real-time visualization and data curves. Typical applications include elevator and tower-crane equipment, turntables, smart vehicles, car chassis tuning, medical equipment, and solar inclination monitoring.

Key Features

  • MEMS high-precision inclination measurement with built-in Kalman filter.

  • Modbus protocol over TTL/RS232/RS485 interfaces.

  • IP67 protection; strong EMC resistance; >3500 g high-seismic rating.

  • 0.1° inclination accuracy (X/Y axes).

  • Wide supply: 5–36 V; typical current 25 mA (normal mode).

  • Free PC software with motion simulation (car/head/plane/cube) and real-time curves.

  • Horizontal or vertical mounting (default: horizontal).

  • Compact metal housing with through-holes for rigid mounting.

Model Differences

SINDT01-TTL (Single-Axis, X)

  • Measured axis: X (single axis).

  • Angle range: X ±180°.

  • Typical use: single-axis leveling/tilt.

SINDT02-TTL (Dual-Axis, XY)

  • Measured axes: X and Y (dual axis).

  • Angle range: X ±180°, Y ±90°.

  • Typical use: platform leveling in two axes.

Both models share 0.1° accuracy on measured axes, Modbus communications, IP67 protection, and the same enclosure.

Wiring & Pin Definitions

TTL (4-wire)

Wire color Function
Red VCC 5 V
Yellow TX
Green RX
Black GND

RS485

Wire color Function
Red VCC 5–36 V
Yellow A
Green B
Black GND

MCU Logic Connection (illustrated)

  • Sensor side supports 5–36 V supply.

  • Connect TX↔RX, RX↔TX, and common GND.

  • Works with 3.3 V MCU logic (as shown in diagram).

Installation Notes

  • Mount the sensor face to a flat, rigid surface; fix tightly to avoid inclination error.

  • Keep the sensor’s measurement axis parallel to the target axis; misalignment between Axis A and Axis B introduces angle errors.

  • Default installation is horizontal; vertical installation is supported when required.

Product Introduction (from card)

  1. Built-in high-precision inclination unit measuring static gravity acceleration and inclination, enabling tilt and pitch relative to the horizontal plane.

  2. Interfaces optional: RS232, RS485, or TTL level (Modbus).

  3. High precision, good stability, easy to use for industrial inclination measurement, automation control, and platform attitude.

  4. IP67 protection, aluminum shell, strong anti-electromagnetic interference, stable performance.

Typical Applications

  • Elevator equipment

  • Tower-crane equipment

  • Turntables and rotary platforms

  • Smart/AGV cars; car chassis tuning
