Overview

The WitMotion WT61 is a 6-axis MEMS attitude sensor that outputs 3-axis acceleration, 3-axis angular velocity, and fused angle (roll/pitch/yaw). It uses a 48 MHz MCU with an embedded IMU (MPU6050, per model naming) and WitMotion’s dynamic fusion + Kalman filtering to deliver high stability, low noise, and precise angle results. The module communicates via Serial TTL and is tiny (15.24 × 15.24 × 2 mm, ~1 g), making it easy to embed in IoT devices, robots, mobile machinery, structural monitoring, consumer electronics, and VR gadgets.

Key Features

  • 3 outputs: acceleration, angular velocity, and angle (attitude).

  • Fusion algorithm: dynamic fusion + Kalman filtering; satellite-grade attitude algorithm heritage; angle accuracy 0.05° (static), 0.1° (dynamic).

  • High-quality hardware: 48 MHz core MCU, stable power chip, gold-immersion copper pads, embedded MEMS sensor.

  • Tiny & light: 15.24 × 15.24 × 2 mm, ~1 g; horizontal/vertical mounting supported.

  • Selectable data rates & baud: 20 Hz / 100 Hz return rate; 9600 / 115200 bps.

  • Android app + Windows software: real-time plotting, recording, raw data view, TXT export, 3D demo viewer, and rich configuration (bandwidth, output rate, placement, thresholds, sleep, Z-axis reset).

  • SDK & examples: Matlab, Python, Raspberry Pi, STM32, ROS, Arduino, C/C++.

  • Documentation & tools: datasheet, manual, MiniIMU.exe, CH340/CP2102 drivers, demo videos.

  • Quality & support: factory calibration report shown; RoHS, CE, ISO 9001.
