Overview
The SLAMTEC Mapper M2M3 LiDAR is a laser mapping sensor designed for map building and real-time localization. It integrates a SLAM engine and a laser range scanner, supporting plug-and-play operation with USB power and providing mapping/localization data for robotics and surveying workflows.
It is also designed to be used as a laser range scanner, with SDK/ROS integration options for bringing range data into an existing system.
Key Features
- Built-in mapping and localization capability (SLAM-based map building and real-time localization/navigation).
- Large-scenario, high-quality mapping with SLAM graph optimization and SharpEdge mapping technology.
- Tilting compensation and fast moving: built-in inertial navigation system (nine degrees of freedom); supports maximum moving speed of 2 m/s and inclination angle ±3°.
- Indoor and outdoor availability (including outdoor environments with direct daylight).
- Fully compatible with ROS for data analysis; cross-platform SDK and tools for phone and PC; ROS driver support and RViz workflow shown.
- Built-in WiFi (access point and station modes) and 100M Ethernet for communication; real-time map/localization data via a mobile application.
- Compact design icons shown: small size, low power, multiple work modes, compatible SLAMTEC ecosystem.
