Overview
The CHIHAI MOTOR6–30V PWM motor controller adjusts the speed and direction of compatible brushless DC motors that already contain their own commutation driver. A rotary knob provides stepless adjustment, with2kHz and20kHz PWM frequency settings. Choose the bare green board or the version with enclosure.
This board sends control signals and routes the motor supply. It is not a three-phase commutation ESC for an undriven brushless motor. Brake/stop control works only with a motor that supports the corresponding function.

Controls and Connection
Connect a suitable DC supply to Power+ and Power−, and the motor supply leads to Motor+ and Motor−. Connect the compatible motor's control leads to PWM and CW/CCW as shown below. The button nearer the knob is the stop control; the button nearer the capacitor changes direction. Stop the motor before reversing direction or changing connections.
Never reverse the board supply polarity. Incorrect supply connection can damage the controller. Do not connect AC mains. The board does not measure FG speed-feedback signals: isolate the unused FG lead and keep it disconnected from controller terminals. Verify voltage, motor current demand and wiring compatibility before installation; a controller current or power rating is not specified here.

The speed-control and brake arrangements below are alternatives. In the illustrated brake arrangement, speed regulation is unavailable. Motor support for braking and direction is required; the board does not add these capabilities to every brushless motor.

Use this controller with compatible internally driven brushless motors or suitable brushless fans for manual speed adjustment in small mechanisms. Confirm the actual motor pinout and supported PWM/brake behavior; model-family examples do not guarantee compatibility with all versions.

One PWM controller in the selected Bare Board or With Enclosure version. The enclosure version includes its enclosure. Motor, power supply and external connection wiring are not included.
