Overview
The CHIHAI MOTOR CHYB-GW3429 DC gear motor assembly converts continuous rotation into left-right reciprocating motion through a metal crank-and-link mechanism. Choose a motor package, the 12 V or 24 V winding/code, and a combined ratio-and-angle setting from the actual available configurations.
Features
- Mechanically adjustable 35°,60° and 90° oscillation positions.
- Metal linkage with ball-bearing support and a 4 mm aluminium-alloy frame.
- Six gear ratios from 36:1 to 590:1, with separate 2473# and 2450# winding options.
- Optional DC power adapter and continuously adjustable speed controller.
Configuration Guide
The three selection fields preserve package and electrical choice independently; reduction ratio and assembly angle share one mechanical field. Changing angle changes the usable oscillating torque. A larger sweep generally permits less load; use the table for the selected voltage, winding, ratio and angle instead of treating all configurations as equal.
The speed controller reduces speed below the chosen configuration's unregulated maximum; it does not increase speed above that value. Allow torque margin when slowing the mechanism. The rpm figures below are geared-drive reference speeds, not a guarantee of completed oscillation cycles per minute under an arbitrary load.

Performance by Voltage and Winding
Torque values are kgf·cm. For reference,10 kgf·cm is approximately 0.98 N·m; these figures do not describe a directly supported mass without considering lever length. Stall figures are not continuous operating limits. Use the angle-specific load torque for an oscillating application.

Wiring and Angle Adjustment
Disconnect power before changing the linkage hole, fitting the wrench or wiring the controller. Secure the frame and keep fingers and cables clear of the moving arm. The optional controller uses M− and M+ for motor negative and positive outputs, and V− and V+ for DC supply negative and positive inputs. Never reverse the supply input. Check the actual terminal labels before energizing the assembly.
Set the selected 35°/60°/90° position using the corresponding crank hole and secure the link fasteners. Check free travel by hand with power disconnected, then test slowly without a load. Do not drive against a mechanical stop or hold the motor stalled.
Applications
Custom oscillating mechanisms, display motion, small automation demonstrations and reciprocating hobby assemblies that match the mounting pattern and configuration-specific load limits.
FAQ
Can the angle be adjusted after purchase?
Yes. The linkage has 35°,60° and 90° mounting positions, and an adjustment wrench is included. Recheck the permitted torque whenever you change the sweep.
Can the speed controller increase the selected maximum speed?
No. It reduces speed from the chosen motor/ratio maximum. Select the winding and reduction ratio for the required motion before applying electronic speed reduction.
