Overview

This 16-channel PWM servo control debugging board is designed for driving and testing up to 16 servos (S1–S16) via I2C (IIC) or serial (UART), and it also supports Bluetooth APP control (with a Bluetooth module) for applications such as robotic arm control. Servos are powered from an external 5–8.4V input, and the servo supply voltage follows the input voltage. The board includes protection circuits such as short-circuit protection, reverse-connection protection, and over-current protection, plus an on-board voltage regulator circuit to improve reliability.

Key Features

  • 16 independent servo ports (S1–S16) for multi-servo setup and debugging.
  • External servo power input: 5–8.4V via terminal block.
  • Control interfaces: I2C (IIC) and serial (UART) communication.
  • Reserved Bluetooth interface; with a Bluetooth module, servos can be controlled by Android/iOS APP.
  • Mobile APP control functions shown: Global control, Single point control, and Robotic arm (image) control.
  • Protection circuits: short-circuit protection, reverse-connection protection, and over-current protection.

What's Included

  • 16-channel servo debugging board
  • Option package shown: steering gear drive board + Bluetooth 5.0 module

How to Use

  • Provide 5–8.4V to the board, then connect servos to the S1–S16 interfaces.
  • A development board can send commands through the serial port (UART) or I2C (IIC) to control the corresponding servo; 16 servos can be controlled separately.
  • When using APP remote control, UART is connected to Bluetooth, and there is no need to connect to an external control board.

APP Notes

  • APP supports iOS/Android dual-system control.
  • Android users can get the APK file in the tutorials.
  • iOS users can search "MakerControl" in the App Store to download the APP.

Applications

  • Servo testing and debugging (5–8.4V servos)
  • Robotic arm and multi-servo robotics projects
  • Integration with development boards via I2C/UART (wiring diagrams are provided in tutorials for multiple platforms)
