Overview
This power supply expansion board is designed for Raspberry Pi 5. It integrates multiple power input/output interfaces and a voltage stabilizing circuit to convert a wide DC input to a stable 5V output, meeting Raspberry Pi 5 power supply specifications and helping avoid low-voltage and USB current-limit warnings. It also supports stacked installation with Raspberry Pi 5, making it suitable for smart cars, robots, and other mobile platform projects.
Key Features
- Supports PD standard protocol and Raspberry Pi 5 exclusive PD protocol (marked: 5V5A)
- Wide voltage input: 6~24V
- Output modes: 5V/3A (6V input); 5V/5A (7~24V input)
- Raspberry Pi 5 protocol description: can provide 5.1V/5A power supply to Raspberry Pi 5
- Multiple input interfaces: KF301-2P (pitch 5.08mm), XH2.54-2Pin, DC5.5*2.5
- Multiple 5V output interfaces: Type-C, PH2.0-2P, DC5.5*2.1, 6Pin pin header
- Indicator lights: Red (power input), Blue (5V output)
- Protection circuits: input anti-reverse connection, output over-current, hiccup current-limiting, over-voltage, over-temperature
- Linear compensation output feature: no-load 4.9V-5V; output voltage increases linearly with current, up to a maximum of 5.25V
- Stacked installation support; two installation methods with upper/lower positions exchangeable
- Note: If powering Raspberry Pi 5, choose an input voltage of 7V or above
- Type-C note: use a Type-C data cable compatible with PD protocol; otherwise the Type-C interface cannot output voltage
- Compatibility text: Raspberry Pi 5/4B, Jetson Nano B01, RDK series; also compatible with JetsonNANO, K210, STM32 and other development boards
- Raspberry Pi 5 USB peripheral current note: when Raspberry Pi 5 detects the exclusive power supply protocol, peripheral USB current increases to 1.6A; otherwise it is limited to 0.6A
