Overview

The FrSky Tandem X18RS is an ETHOS RC radio transmitter featuring a built-in TD-ISRM RS dual-band internal RF module (900M/2.4G). It supports multiple RF operating combinations and protocols (including TW and TD), including Dual 2.4G TW RF mode and simultaneous ACCESS 2.4G + R9 operation. With SBUS IN/OUT receiver linking, an ACCESS 2.4G receiver and an R9 receiver can be connected for redundant backup to improve link reliability in long-distance RC operations.

The X18RS upgrades the antenna handle for improved impact resistance and grip, and adds two external antenna connectors for 2.4G and 900M antennas to enhance RF performance under LoRa modes. It also features an 800×480 outdoor high-brightness touchscreen, metal knobs/trim caps, and MC18 CNC metal Hall-sensor gimbals with adjustable 45°/60° stick travel (45° configuration available out of the box).
