Installation and Compatibility
Match the bore to the actual shaft and align the flange face with the attached surface. Tighten the opposing set screws evenly and use suitable face-mounting fasteners for the four holes. Confirm clearance, concentricity and screw engagement before operation. A rigid coupling does not provide flexible misalignment compensation. Threaded-bore variants require a matching threaded part; do not force them onto a smooth shaft.
Example motor assemblies demonstrate how a flange can attach to a small DC gear motor. Motors, gearboxes, drives and complete mechanisms are not included.
