Overview

The ZeroErr eCoder65 is a ring-style absolute magnetic encoder with a 65 mm through-hole, axial reading, and RS485 single-turn or multi-turn option selections. Resolution options are 17-bit, 19-bit, and 20-bit. The encoder has a stated average thickness of 2.5 mm. The through-hole allows passage for mechanical structures, cables, air lines, and similar items.

RS485 Versions and Resolution Options

The RS485 versions support the RS-485 interface protocol and are stated as compatible with Tamagawa absolute encoder.
The multi-turn version is a non-contact, multi-turn absolute type.
For the 20-bit multi-turn option, stated capabilities include up to 20-bit resolution, 2¹⁶ counting revolutions, programmable and storable point-by-point position compensation, and ±5 arcsecond repeatability.
