Overview
The Yahboom 15KG/20KG/25KG metal digital servo (also referred to as a digital steering gear) is designed for DIY creation, robot development, and other MCU-controlled projects. It uses all-metal gears and a metal output shaft, supports PWM pulse width control, and includes a 30cm (300±5mm) lead. Compared with ordinary servos, it is described as having higher precision, better linearity, faster response, larger torque, lower noise, and better stability.
Key Features
- High torque options: 15KG / 20KG / 25KG class
- All metal gear train; metal output shaft
- IP66 protection; sealing rings used at the joints of the case
- Standard PWM pulse width control; compatible with common MCUs such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi
- Rotation angle: 180° (20KG model also lists 180°/270° optional)
- PWM pulse width mapping example (cycle: 20ms): 0.5ms/1ms/1.5ms/2ms/2.5ms corresponds to 0°/45°/90°/135°/180°
- Green oxidized metal middle frame case on 20KG/25KG models (better heat dissipation capacity)

Choose the 15KG/20KG/25KG option by comparing working voltage, speed, stall torque, and PWM pulse width range.

Pick 15KG for lighter bionic builds, 20KG for balanced speed and torque, or 25KG for higher accuracy and torque-demanding joints.

Servo horns and wheels make it easy to build steering linkages and rotary joints for robotic arms and multi-DOF structures.

Digital control helps improve response and positioning consistency under typical MCU PWM control.

Standard 20ms PWM timing maps pulse width to output angle for predictable 0–180° positioning.

All‑metal gears are designed for durability and smoother torque delivery in high-load servo applications.

Sealing rings at the case joints support IP66 protection for use in dusty environments or splash-prone builds.

The 20KG and 25KG versions use a metal middle frame to help with heat dissipation during sustained load.

A 30cm lead with a standard 3‑wire connector keeps PWM signal, positive, and negative lines easy to route in tight chassis.

A PWM servo tester board helps verify direction, endpoints, and centering before installing the servo into a mechanism.
