Details

Choose Tiny:bit for core micro:bit robotics learning, or Tiny:bit Plus for an expanded build with an optional WiFi camera.

Both versions are built for the BBC micro:bit and support MakeCode and Python, with configuration differences depending on the model.

Designed around the BBC micro:bit platform, with support for both micro:bit V2 (default) and micro:bit V1 (compatible).

Program lessons and projects in MakeCode blocks for quick starts, then move to Python for deeper control.

An 18650 battery socket keeps the build compact while supporting longer run time for classroom demos and experiments.

Assembly stays beginner-friendly, and the Tiny:bit Plus camera add-on installs with a dedicated bracket and latch parts.

Add the optional WiFi camera module on Tiny:bit Plus to stream live video to a phone for immersive remote driving.

Already have Tiny:bit? An additional WiFi image transmission module can upgrade the build path to Tiny:bit Plus features.

Tiny:bit Plus AI vision projects include color tracking, QR code recognition, and face detection/following activities.

Built-in ultrasonic sensing supports classic robotics behaviors like obstacle avoidance and object following.

Sound input and a passive buzzer enable interactive projects that react to audio and play simple tunes.

Programmable RGB lighting and searchlights add visual feedback for status, effects, and creative light patterns.

Onboard tracking sensors make it easy to build line-following courses for STEM challenges and competitions.

The compact chassis is designed to navigate tight spaces, while Tiny:bit Plus adds height for the camera module.

Rear alligator-clip terminals provide quick access to power and pins for fast prototyping with simple add-ons.

Multiple control options let students drive the car by Bluetooth app, infrared remote, or (on supported setups) video control.

USB connection supports convenient programming workflows, and the camera-equipped build keeps the robot ready for demos.

Expansion holes support building blocks, and extra connections help extend projects with additional sensors and DIY mechanisms.

The Tiny:bit smart car robot board combines an ultrasonic module, micro USB interface, IR receiver, RGB lights, and a micro:bit slot for easy wiring and upgrades.
