Overview
The FrSky Hall RPM Sensor ADV is an ADVANCE (ADV) series sensor designed to measure rotational speed (RPM) and output telemetry data via FBUS or S.Port. ADV sensors fully support the FBUS protocol and are also S.Port compatible, allowing pairing with an FBUS-capable receiver to simplify setup.
The sensor can connect directly to a receiver with an S.Port/FBUS port for telemetry readout on compatible radios. It can also be switched to PWM mode to pass rotation data to a device port that supports RPM calculation.
Key Features
- Hall-effect RPM measurement for rotational speed monitoring
- FBUS protocol support and S.Port compatibility (ADV series)
- Two output approaches: S.Port/FBUS telemetry to receiver, or PWM mode for RPM-capable device ports

Installation Notes
- Align the magnet(s) with the sensor’s sensing point center.
- Scenario 1 (one magnet): the distance between the magnet and the center of the induction zone should be <= 4 mm.
- Scenario 2 (two magnets): install magnets in opposite positions (180 degrees apart); the distance between the magnets and the center of the induction zone should be <= 10 mm.
What’s Included
