Overview

Hobbywing EZRUN MAX 4990 SD G2 is a sensored brushless motor designed for RC applications including 1/5 buggy/monster truck and 1/8 heavy-duty monster truck. It uses WSBLM (Waterproof Sensored Brushless Motor) technology and an upgraded sensored system for smoother throttle response and stronger output compared with the previous generation.

  • High-precision encoder outputs rotor position signals to help reduce sensor-signal interference for stable sensored operation
  • Compatibility note: when paired with Hobbywing EZRUN MAX6 G2 or later series ESC, the ESC can automatically recognize the motor, enabling full sensor mode and supporting motor overheat protection (ESC function)
  • CNC machined aluminum housing; high-purity copper windings; ultrathin silicon steel laminations; stainless steel output shaft; high-precision bearing
  • New sensor interface and rubber cover bearing design for improved waterproof and dustproof performance compared with traditional sensored motors
