Overview

This ESC (electronic speed controller) is the Hobbywing EzRun MAX6 G2 waterproof sensored brushless ESC for 1/6th and 1/7th vehicles. It supports 3-8S LiPo and is designed for operation in harsh environments with an innovative waterproof sensor interface; it also supports sensorless operation.

• Sensored brushless ESC with support for sensorless operation
• Input voltage: 3-8S LiPo; continuous/peak current: 200A/1200A
• IP67-rated waterproof and dust-proof protection level (splash-proof / water-proof / dust-proof). Remark: protection performance may decline with daily wear and aging; do not soak in water for a long time.
• Turbo timing adjustment up to 24 degrees; approximately 20% increase in performance is noted when paired with Hobbywing EZRUN 4990/5690 G2 motors. Note: for non-Hobbywing EZRUN 4990/5690 G2 motors, Turbo timing cannot be turned on.
• Built-in switch-mode BEC: 6V/7.4V/8.4V @ 8A (maximum output current up to 25A)
• Intelligent fan start-stop: fan remains off at low ESC temperature and turns on automatically at the preset value
• Built-in data recording with graph; can record up to 10 minutes of data (HW Link V2 app). Bluetooth effective distance is approximately 5 m.
• Built-in Bluetooth module for parameter setting, data reading, and firmware upgrade via mobile app; recorded data includes throttle, voltage, current, temperature, RPM, etc.
• Multiple protection functions: battery low voltage protection, ESC and motor overheat protection, signal loss protection, current protection
• Built-in anti-spark circuit to help protect the battery plug when using higher-voltage batteries (6-8S)
• Intelligent freewheeling technology; operating temperature is approximately 15°C lower compared with the previous generation (as stated)
