Overview
The RadioLink SU04 is a high-performance ultrasonic obstacle avoidance and altitude-holding sensor designed for helicopters, multirotors, fixed-wing airplanes, RC cars, and boats. With a compact size of 20×22×19mm, ultra-lightweight 8g, and low power consumption of only 90mW, SU04 offers extremely fast 30ms response thanks to dual hardware/software filters and a 32-bit processor. It features a 0.4cm detecting precision, 60° beam angle, 40–450cm detection range, and no fade zone, ensuring accurate real-time environmental awareness.

Working Principle
Using ultrasonic echo transmission, SU04 emits and receives ultrasonic waves within a 30ms cycle, accurately detecting nearby obstacles. The sensor enables real-time height sensing and environment feedback for safe navigation, even in complex terrains like hills or slopes.
