The two source tables give the same speed and torque points below for their respective windings. Selector labels round 6.3:1 to 6:1 and 18.8:1 to 18:1. These labels are retained as source choices; the engineering table gives the detailed ratio reference. No-load speed and rated speed are different operating points.

Optical Encoder Connection
| Wire color | Function |
|---|---|
| Red | B phase output |
| Black | A phase output |
| Green | Encoder GND |
| Blue | Encoder VCC, 3.3V / 5V |
| Yellow | Motor positive |
| White | Motor negative |
Red and black are encoder signal outputs, not motor power. Yellow and white are motor power. Keep motor voltage separate from the blue 3.3V/5V logic supply and green logic ground. Do not reverse encoder VCC/GND or apply motor voltage to encoder pins. Verify the marked connector orientation before energizing. The base specification is 448 CPR; gearbox output counts scale with actual reduction and the receiving decoder convention. No additional x4 resolution is claimed.
The source specifies a hardware encoder interface such as STM32 and states Arduino/51 are not supported for this configuration. Check input levels, hardware count rate and decoding support before selecting a controller. A processor, motor driver and feedback controller are not included.
Package Contents

Package illustrations identify alternatives, not multiple motors. The wheel kits show alternative tread/color examples; this listing has no separate tread or color selector. The selected diameter identifies the kit; a particular tread/color is not guaranteed. The 65mm reference shows high-friction and flat-wheel examples; the 80mm reference shows flat-wheel and high-friction examples. A complete chassis or robot is not included.
Mounting and Use
The bracket drawing references 40mm front width, 43mm foot length, 30mm by 24mm base-hole spacing, 3mm material thickness, diameter13mm central front opening and six diameter3.2mm front holes on a 31mm circle. Additional bracket references:47mm height,14mm slot section,18.5mm lower reference,8mm base-hole offset, four diameter3.6mm base holes and R6.5 slot radius. Confirm the actual shaft, screw engagement, hole pattern and rear encoder clearance before installation. Do not let mounting screws contact internal gears. Stop before reversing direction, match the selected motor voltage, avoid overload and allow time to cool. Gear noise and available torque vary with speed and load.
Applications
Balancing-robot development, line-following vehicles, household robotics, camera jibs and motorized mechanisms where the selected rated torque, shaft, supply and feedback hardware meet the requirements. ROS or STM32 in the source title describes potential integration; software, a development board and a complete robot are not supplied.
FAQ
Is the encoder powered from 12V or 24V?
No. Its blue VCC lead needs 3.3V or 5V DC. The motor uses yellow/white leads at the selected nominal motor voltage.
Is 448 CPR the gearbox output count?
It is the base motor-shaft reference. Output counts depend on actual gear reduction and the decoder convention.
Does every package include a wheel?
Only the explicitly named 65mm and 80mm wheel kits include one wheel.
