Drive the motor with a compatible two-phase constant-current stepper driver. The winding voltage is separate from the driver's DC supply voltage; do not connect the motor windings directly to a DC power supply. Verify the phase-current setting for the actual motor before operation and disconnect power before changing wiring. A driver supply and a pulse/control signal source are required separately.
Size the mechanism for its operating torque and avoid overloads, sustained stalls and repeated blocking. Torque margin, step rate and load must be assessed together; operation near the load limit can damage the mechanism. Operating sound varies with speed and load. The unpowered worm gearing must not be used as the sole protection for suspended or hazardous loads.
Speed and Ratio Reference
At 36:1 reduction, the reference output speed is 7.2 RPM ±8% in a test using an HYQD50-H5742 driver with 12 V DC input. This is a test reference rather than a fixed running speed: actual speed depends on input pulse frequency and driver settings. The following series table is provided for comparison; only 36:1 is selectable in this product.

FAQ
Does the 3.7 V winding value mean the driver must use a 3.7 V supply?
No. A current-regulated driver controls the motor windings; its supply voltage is a separate specification. The optional H5742 driver is marked for DC 9–40 V input.
Is 7.2 RPM the only operating speed?
No. It is a reference test speed at 36:1; the running speed depends on your pulse frequency, driver settings and operating load.
Is the mounting bracket included with the driver?
Only the Motor + H5742 Driver + Bracket package includes both accessories. Select the package that matches your installation.
