CHIHAI N20VA Steel-Plate Worm Gear Motor

Overview

The CHIHAI MOTOR CHF-GW12T-N20VA Steel-Plate Series is a miniature worm DC gear motor with a3 mm D-shaft and reinforced steel-plate gearbox frame. All choices here use steel-plate construction, with236:1,302:1 or1030:1 reduction. Choose the voltage/winding and one of ten motor, bracket, board, controller or power-supply packages.

Configuration Guide

Choose3V B45,6V B45,6V A35 or12V A35 to match the intended supply. A35 and B45 are different motor winding references, not encoder choices. The family performance tables include42:1,118:1 and603:1 reference columns, but this steel-plate listing offers only236:1,302:1 and1030:1. Other ratios are not additional selectable combinations.

Available combinations are236:1 and302:1 with3V B45 or6V B45, and1030:1 with6V A35 or12V A35. Only the actual in-stock combinations are offered.

Motor Performance

No-load, rated and stall values describe different operating conditions. All current and stall-torque figures are upper-limit references. Avoid continuous stall; torque figures do not establish a lifting payload or safety-brake rating. Torque columns retain independently rounded kgf·cm and N·m references.

Installation and Use

Match the selected winding to the actual DC supply before connecting power. Power-supply and controller photographs illustrate the package parts; check their labels, input/output voltage and connector polarity before use. The optional solder-free board and lead provide a convenient connection; they are not themselves a speed controller. A mini-controller or supply is included only in the corresponding package.

The steel-plate frame uses three support points rather than the compared brass-frame arrangement. Keep shaft loads within the selected operating point and support coupled mechanisms correctly. Worm gearing resists reverse movement, but holding depends on the ratio and load; use an independent holding device where required. Avoid overload, sustained stall and forcing the shaft.

Applications

Suitable for compact robot mechanisms, powered furniture mechanisms, smart-home actuators, small focusing systems and camera pan/tilt drives using a matched control and load arrangement.
