Overview

The Hobbywing XR10 Pro G3 ESC is an ESC designed for 1/10 Modified class RC car racing, supporting sensored and sensorless brushless motors on 2S LiPo power. It includes selectable profiles, adjustable BEC voltage, data logging, and multiple protection functions including Reverse Polarity Protection (RPP).

  • Three selectable profiles for 1/10 RC car racing; profiles can be customized and renamed.
  • Internal electronic key switch; external switch port supports an external switch (not included, sold separately).
  • Independent programming interface; separate programming port can power an external fan or connect to an LCD Program Box Pro or OTA Programmer.
  • Dual parameter setting mode: 24 Parameters (Basic) and 44 Parameters (Advanced).
  • Variable frequency regulation of PWM and brake frequencies.
  • Freewheeling function; temperature theoretically drops by 15°C compared to the previous XR10 Pro G2S ESC.
  • RPM decrease rate setting for faster deceleration off throttle (with Freewheeling enabled).
  • Disc Brake Mode (close loop brake control) with Brake Force Curvature support; Linear/Traditional braking nodes also available.
  • Softening 2.0 parameter for tuning initial driving force.
  • Smart Fan start-stop function; can be disabled through parameter settings.
  • New generation frameless cooling fan with specialized-material fan blades; fan assembly is detachable.
  • Low center of gravity design; overall height reduced by 2mm compared to the previous XR10 Pro G2S ESC.
  • Built-in data recording module: up to 19 groups of 20-minute data sessions (total 380 minutes). Stored logs can be reviewed after a run via App when connected through an OTA Programmer or LCD Program Box Pro; includes real-time data output for operational status.
  • Optimized cable output for easier wiring; includes one set of U-type connectors (supports flat and diagonal soldering).
  • Purpose-built options noted: Modified G3 (black) and SPEC G3X (titanium gray). Note: G3 uses 13AWG wire; G3X uses 12AWG wire.
