Overview
Adjust the speed of a small brushed DC motor with a rotary PWM controller. Choose the board, enclosed controller or base-mounted version to suit the supply and mounting arrangement. The selected option determines the supplied controller.
Features
- Rotary speed adjustment with an integrated switch on the pictured board.
- Four screw terminals for power input and motor output on the illustrated board.
- Available as a bare controller, an enclosed controller, or a controller on an insulating base.
Specifications
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Brand | CHIHAI MOTOR |
| Function | PWM speed control for a brushed DC motor |
| Bare board reference | 4.5–35 V DC, up to 5 A, 20 kHz PWM, 1–100% duty cycle; approximately 25 g net |
| Other base-mounted option | Green board: 2–12 V DC, as labeled on its option |
| Bare board size | Approximately 30 × 26 mm, excluding the projecting knob |
These specifications are drawn from the pictured bare board; do not assume the same current, frequency or terminal layout for every version. Choose the input voltage specified for your selected option and match the motor's own rating.
Applications
Suitable for controlling the speed of compatible small brushed DC motors in projects and equipment, within the ratings of the chosen controller and motor.
What's Included
One controller in the selected configuration. The illustrated motor, battery and connecting wires are for wiring reference and are not included.
Installation
Use a DC supply only; never connect the controller directly to AC mains. Observe input polarity. On the illustrated bare board, connect the supply and motor to the corresponding terminals shown in the diagram. Reversing the motor leads changes its rotation direction. Disconnect power before changing wiring and avoid exceeding the controller or motor ratings.
FAQ
Which voltage should I choose?
Choose the option that matches your DC supply and motor. The green base-mounted version is labeled 2–12 V; the red base-mounted version is labeled 4.5–35 V. The other options are labeled 24 V.
Is a motor or power supply included?
No. The selected option is the controller only.
