Overview
The CHIHAI MOTOR CHR-SP 20-190-30MM is a compact linear actuator with a brushed DC motor and geared reciprocating mechanism. It extends and retracts through a 30 mm stroke while the output remains non-rotating. Select the motor winding and the actual lead, bracket, controller or supply package.

Internal Motor Performance
The following data describe the internal motor at each winding voltage. Motor rpm and mN·m are rotary motor measurements, not the actuator linear speed or thrust. The assembly no-load-current references differ and appear separately above. Stall is not a continuous operating condition.

Connection and Installation
Connect a suitable DC supply and motor driver according to their marked polarity and the selected winding. For speed-controller packages, the actuator connects to the motor output and the supply to the DC input. Never connect household AC directly to the motor or controller, and never reverse controller power-input polarity. Confirm terminal polarity from the illustrated motor-end reference.
The USB-lead package adds a prewired connector only. It does not add a voltage converter or guarantee rated 6 V/12 V performance from an ordinary 5 V USB port. Do not feed 6 V or 12 V into a standard USB port or an unqualified USB source. Check cable current capacity and use a compatible external supply arrangement.
Support the actuator in alignment and keep side loads off the moving output. Allow the full 103–133 mm length envelope and provide a guard around the reciprocating end. The actuator repeats extension and retraction; it is not a feedback-controlled positioning axis. No limit-switch or encoder function is specified. Avoid mechanical blocking, overload, moisture and overheating.
Applications
Small reciprocating mechanisms, demonstrators and compact motion projects requiring repeated linear travel. Verify thrust, speed, duty cycle and mounting against the actual application; this is a component rather than a complete rated machine.

Does the output rotate?
No. The output extends and retracts through 30 mm.

No. It is the 12 V internal motor no-load reference; the output is reciprocating linear motion.
Does the USB lead convert 5 V to 12 V?
No voltage-conversion function is specified. The lead alone does not establish rated-voltage performance.
Does every package include a supply?
