Overview
D-Robotics RDK S100/S100P Developer Kit is an integrated computation-and-control robot development kit designed for embodied intelligent robots. It adopts a human-inspired dual-brain architecture that combines a high-performance CPU, a Brain Processing Unit (BPU) rated at 80 TOPS / 128 TOPS (new Nash architecture), and a real-time MCU to balance AI perception/decision-making with low-latency motion control.
It integrates three core units: a CPU (6x Cortex-A78AE, 100K DMIPS), a BPU (Brain Processing Unit) (new Nash architecture, 80 TOPS/128 TOPS), and an MCU (4x Cortex-R52, 6K+ DMIPS). CPU handles real-time scheduling and low-latency tasks; BPU is optimized for CNN/Transformer, supporting 160+ ONNX operators to improve AI inference energy efficiency; MCU enables high-frame-rate joint control, forming a “brain-cerebellum” collaborative architecture that balances intelligence and real-time performance.
Key Features
- Three-chip heterogeneous collaboration: CPU + BPU (Brain Processing Unit) + MCU “super heterogeneous high-efficiency collaboration”.
- Large and small model collaboration: vision/point cloud detection, large language model, visual language model, motion control model, and perception-decision-control workflow.
- End-to-end millisecond-level response closed loop: visual data semantic detection (LLM/VLM) and state analysis via BPU + CPU; motion control model inference via BPU; high-frame-rate joint closed-loop execution via MCU.
- Freely expandable interfaces: 40-pin classic interface, camera expansion interface, dual M.2 Key interfaces, Type-C quick connection, and onboard 64GB eMMC.
- Open-source ecosystem: 200+ open-source algorithms and application examples; supports hardware-accelerated ROS2 feature package; officially adapted to popular AI models.
- M.2 SSD expansion support: onboard 64GB eMMC is provided; SSD can be installed via the onboard M.2 interface for higher-capacity deployments (e.g., large language models / multimodal models).
