Overview
The HAITAI HT1806 is a compact brushless gimbal motor for camera stabilization, small positioning mechanisms and LiDAR projects. Its 22 mm diameter housing suits space-limited builds. Choose the bare motor or a version with an AS5600 or AS5048A magnetic encoder and rear cover.
Features
- 12 V motor with 0.03 N·m rated torque and 800 rpm rated speed.
- Compact construction: approximately 20 g without an encoder and 25 g with an encoder.
- AS5600 12-bit and AS5048A 14-bit encoder configurations available.
- U, V and W motor phase pads for connection to a suitable external brushless motor driver.
- Mounting drawings and encoder connections shown below for integration planning.

Applications
Suitable for compact gimbal mechanisms, camera pods, LiDAR rotation assemblies and custom positioning projects when paired with an appropriate driver and mechanical design. Application equipment pictured is illustrative and is not included.
What's Included
- Motor only: one HT1806 motor, without encoder or rear cover.
- AS5600 configuration: one HT1806 motor with AS5600 encoder and rear cover.
- AS5048A configuration: one HT1806 motor with AS5048A encoder and rear cover.
A motor driver/controller and application hardware are not included in these configurations.
Encoder Connections
The AS5048A assembly shows SPI access and a three-wire PWM connection: black = GND, red = 5.0 V, white = PWM. U, V and W are motor phase connections. Do not apply the motor's 12 V supply to the encoder's 5 V input.
The AS5600 board provides the following connections:
| Pad | Function |
|---|---|
| GND | Ground |
| 5.0V | 5 V DC encoder supply |
| PWM | 460 Hz PWM output |
| PGO | Programming option |
| SDA | I²C data |
| SCL | I²C clock |
| DIR | Direction polarity |
FAQ
Does the motor-only option include a rear cover?
No. Choose either encoder configuration if you need the encoder and rear cover.
Can I connect the motor directly to a DC supply?
The U, V and W phase connections require a suitable brushless motor driver. The encoder connection is separate and uses the 5 V supply shown in the wiring diagrams.
Which encoder options are offered?
Choose AS5600 for the 12-bit configuration or AS5048A for the 14-bit configuration. Check the board diagrams and your controller interface before selecting.
