Overview

WitMotion JY-ME01 / JY-ME02 is an absolute rotary encoder angle sensor for 360° rotation angle measurement with 18-bit digital rotation angle measurement and memorized position. It supports Modbus mode (Modbus can read sensor data) and is designed for automation control applications such as robotics, 3D printers, and production equipment.

  • 360° Rotation Angle Measurement: 360° non-contact sensor, low rotation damping
  • JUE Absolute Encoder functions: records number of working turns and current angle; each position code is unique and non-repetitive; origin can be set at any position
  • No need to return to zero on power-up; no counting required; power-off memory available (no battery required)
  • Single-turn mode and multi-turn mode supported; in multi-turn mode, turns can be counted; number-of-turns range: -32768 to 32767
  • Support Modbus Mode; Support Serial Port ASCII Code (ASCII output is intuitive for checking data)
  • Adopt 360° non-contact magnetic sensor; more resistant to vibration and impact than photoelectric encoders
  • Aluminum housing: shields external magnetic field signal interference; can shield external electromagnetic signals
  • Industry standard aluminum housing properties listed: shock-resistant, dust-resistant, moisture-resistant, oil-resistant
