Installation Notes

Custom-sized aluminum heatsinks with adhesive backing make it easy to improve Raspberry Pi 4B cooling on the main chips.

Raspberry Pi 4B uses a different heatsink layout than Pi 3B/3B+, so chip coverage and sizes are tailored to the newer board.

Under the same test conditions, Raspberry Pi 4B concentrates more heat around key components than Pi 3B+, making chip-level cooling more important.

CPU temperature results are provided for normal operation and 4K video playback, comparing heatsink and fan configurations.

Choose between a colorful set (copper + aluminum) or a silver set (all aluminum), both designed to fit the Raspberry Pi 4B chip locations.

Recommended placement targets the CPU, RAM, and USB 3.0 chip area; the network card area is left uncovered to avoid clearance and short-circuit risk.
