Overview
The RATEFPV Snap X5 is a 5-inch freestyle ELRS FPV drone platform built for modular customization, fast maintenance, and flexible installation. The PNP version does not include a VTX or camera, and is compatible with DJI O4, DJI O4 Wide, and DJI O4 Pro air units when installed with the appropriate configuration.
Its modular architecture supports quick replacement of major components, while the wide X-frame layout provides 155° FOV clearance for reduced propeller obstruction. The platform is suited to freestyle flying, cinematic lines, and custom FPV builds.

Compatibility and Installation Notes
The DJI O4 and O4 Wide installations require the Snap X5 ELRS PNP version with the O4 Wide installation CNC case and parts, or the applicable 145° FOV wide-angle lens set. DJI O4 Pro installation does not require the lens set.
For DJI O4 and O4 Pro batches made after February 2026, the upgraded internal IMU gyro may be highly sensitive to FPV drone vibration. Enabling RockSteady can cause heavy video jitter. Disable air unit stabilization before recording and use flight controller gyro data with Gyroflow for post-stabilization.
