Overview
Yunshis MVR3EC is a range LiDAR module for the MVR 3 series, using TOF (Time of Flight) technology with a 940 nm light source. It is designed to provide distance measurement from 0.3 to 30 meters (indoor and outdoor), with compensation for temperature, ambient light, and linearity to support stable ranging in different environments. The module provides UART output in HEX and ASCII data formats.

Notes on Field of View
The module uses infrared TOF technology: it calculates relative distance by emitting modulated infrared light signals and processing the reflected return at the receiving sensor. The optical design FOV of the detection area is 1.4°. Example: the area projected at a distance of 5 meters is 12 x 12 centimeters. If multiple objects are within the FOV range, the calculated distance may be affected.
