Wiring and operation

Use a DC supply matching the selected motor voltage. Do not connect the motor directly to household AC power. When using a controller, connect its supply input with the marked polarity and connect the motor to the motor output. Reversing the motor leads changes rotation direction; a compatible controller may provide a direction switch.

A greater reduction ratio provides lower speed and higher torque. Electronic speed reduction may reduce available torque. Select using the loaded operating figures. Do not overload the motor or operate it stalled, as this can damage the motor or gears.
