Overview

The Kunwei Sensing HPS74 series is a six-axis force/torque sensor for measuring forces and moments in robotic systems. Its 74 mm diameter, 28.6 mm height and titanium-alloy housing support mechanical integration, while RS422 / Ethernet provides communication. Choose HPS74A, HPS74B or HPS74C to match the required measurement range; all three versions share the listed dimensions, supply-voltage range and measurement-quality specifications.

Features

  • Measures force along Fx, Fy and Fz, and moments about Mx, My and Mz.
  • Three versions provide different force and moment ranges without changing the listed housing dimensions.
  • Circular housing with face mounting holes and a side-mounted circular electrical connector.
  • High-performance titanium-alloy construction with a listed weight of 0.28 kg.
  • RS422 / Ethernet communication and sampling frequency up to 30,000 Hz.
  • Shared resolution of 0.03% FS, repeatability of 0.1% FS and accuracy of 0.3% FS.

Applications

  • Robotic-arm force measurement: Measure contact forces and moments during arm interaction tasks, using the six measurement axes to distinguish linear loading from rotational loading.
  • Humanoid, quadruped and exoskeleton load measurement: Instrument mechanical interaction points to assess forces and moments, selecting HPS74A, HPS74B or HPS74C according to the required load range.
  • AGV vehicle and ARU robot load monitoring: Measure forces and moments at instrumented mechanical interfaces, with RS422 / Ethernet available for communicating measurements to the system.
