Overview

The Hobbywing EZRUN MAX8 G2S - Bluetooth ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) is a sensored ESC for 1/8 RC cars for on-road and off-road use, including short course trucks and monster trucks. It supports waterproof operation and sensored-smooth driving.

Key Features

• Waterproof sensor harness: Waterproof sensor harness for sensor-based systems. Using a Hobbywing Adaptor (optional), normal/standard sensor motors can be used. Note: Supports normal adaptor sensored motors; additional adapter wires are required for other motors.
• High level of protection: IP67; excellent waterproof and dust-proof performance; all-weather operation capabilities (cope with harsh environments and various climate conditions).
• Turbo timing technology: Turbo timing adjustable up to 32 degrees. With a matching motor (EzRun 4268/4278 SD G2), the maximum speed can be increased by approximately 25%.
• Efficient cooling system: Uses a frameless fan with patented technology. Large airflow from the side of the fan blows heat away from the integrated housing radiator to help keep the ESC at an optimal operating temperature.
• Fan intelligent start and stop function: The ESC fan does not run when ESC temperature is low; it automatically turns on when temperature reaches the preset value. Helps reduce noise, saves power, and supports operation in a suitable temperature range.
• Capacitor overheating protection: Helps prevent overheating from overloads or extreme conditions.
• Optimized hardware: Optimized hardware design and intelligent freewheeling technology to improve stability and reliability (based on the MAX8 G2 ESC).
• Extreme output, easy to control: Smooth and linear throttle response for balanced power and control.
• Built-in Bluetooth: Connects directly to the mobile app without plugging in any device. Supports parameter settings, data reading, and firmware upgrades. Note: Data includes throttle amount, voltage, current, temperature, speed, etc.
• Built-in data logging: Built-in data recording module can store up to 10 minutes of the most recent run. Using the HW Link V2 App, saved data can be viewed; also supports viewing Real Time Data for bench top testing and reviewing data outputs. Note: Due to Bluetooth transmission distance, the effective distance is only about 5 m.
• Protections (listed): Battery low voltage protection, ESC overheat protection, motor overheat protection, signal loss protection, and current protection.
• Switch mode: Electronic switch.
• Super built-in BEC: Output voltage can be switched in three levels of 6V / 7.4V / 8.4V; maximum output current up to 15A.
