Configuration Guide
Choose one actual Package, Reduction Ratio and Voltage combination.246:1 appears only in the family performance reference and is not offered by the saved retail selector. The enclosed-controller configuration is identified by its enclosure; the other controller options use the open PCB. Do not infer different electrical capability from enclosure color.
Performance at 12 V and 24 V
The 12 V winding has an approximately 10 W power reference; the 24 V winding has an approximately 50 W reference. Compare loaded speed and torque at the selected voltage; no-load rpm is a different operating condition.246:1 rows below are series reference only.
12 V
| Ratio | No-load rpm | Loaded rpm | Load torque, kgf·cm | Stall torque reference, kgf·cm | GearboxL, mm |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

No-load current ≤500 mA; loaded current ≤2.8 A; stall current ≤4.0 A.
Do not exceed 60kgf·cm output load. Avoid stall; the 60kgf·cm ceiling is not a continuous torque or stall rating. High-power eight-wire external-driver versions require a different custom configuration and are not included here.
Five-Wire Motor Connection
| Black / GND | Motor/control ground |
|---|---|
| Red / VCC | Selected 12 V or 24 V motor supply positive |
| Blue / PWM | 0–5 V pulse-width speed input; do not apply motor supply voltage |
| Yellow / FG | Open-collector speed feedback, 12 motor-shaft pulses/revolution |
| White / CW/CCW | Direction input; floating for default direction, grounded for reverse |
For the default direction, connect red to the selected motor supply positive and black to ground; leave white unconnected. To reverse that direction, connect white to black ground. Blue is the 0–5 V PWM signal input; yellow isFG output. FG provides 12 pulses per motor-shaft revolution; the output-shaft pulse reference is 12 multiplied by reduction ratio. It provides speed feedback, not absolute position.
Optional Controller Connections
The controller reference identifies powerV+ andV− as DC supply inputs; motorVCC+ goes to red, motorGND− to black, andCW/CCW to white. YellowFG is not connected to this controller.
- Speed-control mode:blue motorPWM lead connects to controllerPWM; BRAKE terminal is left open. Speed control and direction switching are available.
- Brake-control mode:blue motorPWM lead connects to controllerBRAKE; controllerPWM terminal is left open. This mode provides stop/brake and direction switching, without speed adjustment.
The illustrated controller board accepts 6–30 V DC. Do not connect it directly to 220 V AC. Change direction only after the motor has stopped. Match the supply to the selected 12 V or 24 V motor winding. Check actual controller terminal labels before wiring.
Mechanical Installation and Operation
Use the ratio-specific gearbox lengthL and reference drawing before machining. Mounting holes are 4×M4, 6 mm deep; avoid bottoming screws. The optional bracket drawing shows 70×50 mm base, 60 mm height, 3 mm thickness, a 28.2 mm central opening and 35 mm mounting-circle reference. Use the bracket only where mechanical fit matches.
Avoid overload and stalled operation; speed falls with load and noise changes with speed and load. Assess cooling, current demand and duty cycle for the actual mechanism. Do not use a stall figure as a normal operating point.
Applications
- Compact automation mechanisms requiring geared brushless rotation and speed control.
- Small robotic mechanisms where the selected torque, speed and feedback interface fit the controller.

FAQ
Is a separate brushless driver required for the listed motor?
The five-wire motor has an internal driver. The optional controller provides convenient control connections; an eight-wire external-driver motor is a different custom configuration.
Are the 12 V and 24 V motors the same power?
No. The performance references differ:approximately 10 W for 12 V and 50 W for 24 V. Match both voltage and operating point.
Can the optional controller brake and adjust speed at the same time?
The illustrated connection modes are alternatives. Speed mode connects the blue lead toPWM; stop/brake mode connects it toBRAKE and has no speed adjustment.
DoesFG give gearbox-output position?
No. FG is motor-shaft speed feedback with 12 pulses per motor revolution. Output pulse reference scales with gearbox ratio; it is not an absolute-position interface.
