Stall torque and current describe a blocked-rotor condition, not continuous operation. Maximum-output and maximum-efficiency values refer to different operating points. Use a supply, wiring and switching path suited to the selected motor and load; avoid stalling.
Installation and Connection
Confirm shaft projection, pinion engagement, motor outline and terminal clearance before installation. Use2.8 mm spade-terminal connections where specified; avoid soldering directly to the motor terminals. The illustrated49# terminal view identifies the red-marked terminal as positive and the opposite terminal as negative. Check the actual selected motor before connection.
The reference motor includes a shaft sleeve, spring and pinion as photographed. The exact end cap, housing openings, shaft and pinion vary by numbered option. Do not infer that every variant has the same venting or magnet material.
Configuration Guide
Select a motor by its exact model number, shaft dimensions and operating voltage. Short-shaft102#,109# and110# references have15.5 mm shaft projection and74 mm overall length. The long-shaft references are generally30.5 mm projection and88 mm overall length;115# is88.5 mm overall. Confirm fit against the intended mechanism rather than relying on the 480 size name alone.
Applications
For compatible hobby and model mechanisms requiring a 480-format high-speed brushed motor. Match the chosen motor's mechanical fit, supply, switching system and load. No particular gearbox, controller, battery or other equipment compatibility is guaranteed by the format name.

FAQ
Does the shaft-sleeve option include a motor?
No. It is a two-piece shaft-sleeve accessory pack only.
Are all480 motors the same size and shaft length?
No. This listing includes short- and long-shaft models. Compare the model-specific dimensions before ordering.
Do the49# performance figures apply to the other motors?
No. They apply to the CHF-480SA-11340 reference at 11.1 V. The other models have separate winding and performance references.
Can I use stall torque as a continuous load rating?
No. A stalled motor can draw a very high current. Select and operate the motor using an appropriate running operating point.
