Overview
FrSky Advanced Engine Suite II (AES II) is a multi-functional management box suitable for application in airplanes equipped with engines. Through the VBAT (XT30/PWR) power port, the same battery can power all connected devices, eliminating the need for an independent power supply for the ignition control unit. AES also adopts a safety solution to reduce potential risks caused by interference between the connected ignition and receiver devices.
The AES module provides multiple sensor interfaces, including 2 sets of 2 RPM sensor ports, 1 flowmeter sensor port, and 7 temperature sensor ports (4 PT100 type & 3 TEMS type). It also provides 2 AD ports for additional analog devices. Via FBUS/S.Port on a connected receiver, telemetry data can be monitored in real time on the transmitter to view operating status.
Power wiring note from the connection diagram: using both the VBAT (XT30) port and VBAT (PWR) port simultaneously to power the device is forbidden.

Details

Use a single VBAT input to power the AES II and connected devices—connecting VBAT (XT30) and VBAT (PWR) at the same time is forbidden.

One compact box handles VBAT power distribution, ignition management, and telemetry-ready sensor connections for engine airplanes.
