
Overview
The RATEFPV L40 Pro is a 4-inch long-range freestyle GPS ELRS FPV drone built around a 4S power system, 1505 2800KV motors, a 40A flight-control stack, and a DC-style carbon-fiber frame. Its swept-back layout is designed to keep propellers outside the view of the wide-angle camera configuration for cleaner FPV footage.
The frame uses separate arms and baseplate construction, allowing a damaged arm to be replaced individually. Integrated Bluetooth enables wireless parameter adjustment from a compatible phone-based tuning app.

Camera and Video Configuration
The O4 Wide configuration uses a CNC aluminum camera mount and a 148-degree wide-angle lens. The DC swept-back trapezoid frame is intended to reduce propeller intrusion into this wide field of view. Supported video-system configurations listed for the frame include analog VTX, DJI O4, and DJI O4 Pro.
From July 2, 2026, the L40 O4 version is updated to an O4 Wide configuration with a CNC case kit. For DJI O4 and O4 Pro batches made after February 2026, disable air-unit stabilization before recording; use flight-controller gyro data with Gyroflow for post-stabilization when required.
