Collection: Hobbywing Flyfun Series
The Hobbywing FlyFun Series is a performance-focused ESC lineup built for fixed-wing aircraft, EDF jets, and many high-power RC airframes that demand smooth throttle control, high efficiency, and dependable protection. Featuring DEO Technology with Active Freewheeling, FlyFun ESCs deliver faster and smoother throttle response, better throttle linearity, longer flight time, and lower operating temperature for more reliable power delivery.
FlyFun V5 ESCs use a high-performance 32-bit microprocessor with low-impedance PCB design and quality components to handle high current loads with strong consistency. Setup is flexible, with multiple programmable parameters adjustable via transmitter or a Hobbywing LED program box, making it easy to tune start-up behavior, braking, and response for different aircraft types.
For safety and service life, FlyFun includes multiple protection functions such as start-up protection, over-current protection, ESC thermal protection, capacitor thermal protection, overload protection, throttle signal loss protection, and abnormal input voltage protection.
The range covers regular versions from 20A up to 120A for 2–8S setups, plus HV versions such as 110A, 130A OPTO, and 160A OPTO for 6–14S power systems. SBEC models provide a high-power switch-mode BEC with selectable 5.2V, 6.0V, or 7.4V output and up to 8A continuous and 20A peak to support high-demand servos and onboard electronics, while OPTO models are designed for external receiver power solutions.
