Compact planetary gearing for controlled motion

The Jiali Motor 32GP-31ZY combines a brushed DC motor with a metal planetary gearbox for machinery, automation projects and robotics. Choose a 12V or 24V configuration, a no-load output speed from 11 to 1538 RPM, a 6 mm or 8 mm shaft, and the accessory package required for your installation.

Choose your configuration

Voltage & No-Load Speed selects the rated motor voltage and gearbox speed. Shaft Diameter selects 6 mm or 8 mm. Package specifies the included accessories. Listed RPM is the no-load speed at the selected rated voltage; actual speed decreases under load.

12V chart current: 0.35A no-load and 1.3A at the listed loaded operating point. 24V chart current: 0.25A no-load and 0.8A at the listed loaded operating point.

Power, wiring and speed control

Connect the motor to a DC supply matching the selected 12V or 24V rating. Do not connect the motor directly to household AC power. When a compatible controller is used, connect the DC supply to its power input and the motor leads to its motor output, following the controller markings.

Reverse the motor lead polarity to change direction, or use the direction switch on a compatible controller. PWM speed adjustment requires a suitable controller; it is included only in packages listing a Speed Controller. Reducing speed electronically may reduce available torque.

Selecting the correct ratio

Choose the gear ratio using the required loaded speed and torque. Greater reduction provides lower output speed and greater torque. Do not overload the motor or operate it stalled: this can damage the motor or gears. Use rated-load figures for selection rather than stall torque.
