Overview
The CHIHAI MOTOR linear stepper selections combine a motor, lead screw and travelling carriage for compatible miniature mechanisms. Choose 1519 with nominal 19 mm travel,1530 with 30 mm travel,or 1545 with the pictured65 mm travel. The1519 options also include button-driver or PLC-control-driver packages. These linear actuators require a compatible stepper drive.
Features
- 1519 uses an M3×0.5 right-hand stainless-steel screw and a supported carriage.
- Two-phase four-wire bipolar stepper construction on the 1519 reference.
- Three mounting positions on the 1519 motor flange.
- Distinct30 mm and 65 mm longer-travel assemblies retain their own package photographs.

The1519 nominal 19 mm description and approximately18.75 mm full-step travel are different reference presentations of that assembly. The1545 designation must not be interpreted as 45 mm travel:its package photograph identifies 65 mm. Do not transfer1519 dimensions, weight or electrical settings to1530 or 1545.
1519 Wiring
| Pin | Wire color | Phase |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Blue | A− |
| 2 | Black | A+ |
| 3 | Red | B− |
| 4 | Yellow | B+ |
Blue/black form phase A;red/yellow form phase B. The following two-phase-on sequence is referenced to the flange-side CW/CCW drawing. Use a compatible bipolar driver and verify connector orientation before connection.
| Coil | Step 1 | Step 2 | Step 3 | Step 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Black A+ | ON | — | — | ON |
| Red B− | — | — | ON | ON |

1519 Full-Step Drive References
The following voltage/frequency/current table is a separate full-step test reference. Phase-current and test-current values describe different stated conditions. These references do not replace the actual driver's ratings or a correctly configured motor-current setting. Use drive conditions that avoid pronounced resonance and monitor motor temperature.
| Test supply | Maximum rate(Hz) | Motor rpm at maximum | Current at maximum(A) | Minimum rate(Hz) | Motor rpm at minimum | Current at minimum(A) | Locked-phase current at 0Hz(A) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12.0V | 1200 | 3600 | ≤0.15 | 600 | 1800 | ≤0.50 | ≤1.2 |
| 6.0V | 750 | 2250 | ≤0.12 | 500 | 1500 | ≤0.17 | ≤0.65 |
| 5.0V | 600 | 1800 | ≤0.12 | 300 | 900 | ≤0.25 | ≤0.55 |
| 3.7V | 400 | 1200 | ≤0.12 | 250 | 750 | ≤0.18 | ≤0.4 |
The rpm rows refer to motor rotation in the test, not carriage travel in mm/s. Higher pulse rates reduce available torque under the illustrated conditions. The electrical relation is applied voltage = back EMF + winding current×resistance. Avoid end-stop stalling and overheating.
Driver Packages and Installation
The button-driver package contains the pictured button-operated board. The PLC-control package contains the pictured board with external control terminals. Check the actual terminal functions, signal levels, supply and current settings before connection. A PLC or host controller is not included.
The separate test-driver illustration shows a different earlier board. Its jumper references are 6–18V for the inward position and 4–6V for the outward position, with a 6–12V recommendation. Those jumper instructions apply only to that illustrated board and must not be transferred to the selected button/PLC boards. Stay within the actual board's ratings.
Use the complete1519 drawing to check flange holes, carriage clearances and screw alignment. The drawing labels three 3.2 mm apertures while the photographic mounting callout says3.1 mm;confirm actual hole fit before selecting fasteners. The lead-gauge annotations differ between references,so no wire-gauge rating is specified here.
Applications
Compatible miniature slide stages,small3D-printer or engraving mechanisms, and compact instrument loading/unloading mechanisms where the selected travel, load, drive and mounting fit. The1519 references are not a load or accuracy guarantee for another version.

FAQ
Does1545 mean45 mm travel?
No. The1545 option's photograph identifies 65 mm travel. Select by the stated option and pictured assembly.
Can I use the 1519 current settings for 1530 or 1545?
Separate electrical data is not provided for those versions. Confirm their actual motor and driver specifications instead of transferring1519 settings.
Can I apply DC directly to the four motor wires?
The1519 motor requires a sequenced bipolar stepper drive. Use a compatible driver and the phase-pair mapping.
Do the old test-board jumper instructions apply to the packaged boards?
No. The separate test-board photograph shows a different board. Use the actual selected board's ratings and interface.
Is the nominal 19 mm travel a positioning-accuracy specification?
No. It is a travel reference. Positioning accuracy depends on the mechanism, load and drive configuration.
