Overview

This Beitian TTL GNSS receiver module is designed for high-precision positioning applications including UAV & FPV drones, flight control, aerial surveying and mapping, precision agriculture, geodetic survey, deformation monitoring, marine navigation, automotive positioning, industrial IoT, timing synchronization, robotics, Arduino DIY, and other high-precision positioning fields.

Wiring / Configuration Notes

  • GPS module & USB-to-TTL cable: GND to GND, VCC to VCC, TX to RX, RX to TX.
  • GPS module & MCU: 1PPS to IO, GND to GND, TX to RX, RX to TX, VCC to VCC.
  • Shown debugging method: use a USB-to-TTL adapter cable to connect the module to a PC for configuration.

Electronic Compass Notes

Documentation states the module supports a built-in electronic compass and mentions a QMC5883L electronic compass. The module selection tables also indicate compass availability is model-dependent (examples shown include NO and QMC5883Q depending on the variant).
