Package Options / Note on TF Card
- K210 developer kit: TF card needs to be prepared by the user.
- K210 developer kit + TF card: can realize K210 all functional cases.
Note: The K210 development board needs a TF card to store large model files when performing visual recognition. The microPython programming examples provided also require a TF card. Using TF cards of other brands may have compatibility issues; selecting a high-quality TF card is recommended.
Applications
- Smart home, machine vision, intelligent robots, and IoT remote control projects
- AI visual recognition application development: object recognition; self-learning classification
- Character/Code recognition: QR code recognition; barcode recognition; AprilTag machine code recognition; handwritten digit recognition; license plate/number recognition
- Human recognition functions: face detection; facial feature detection; mask recognition; face recognition; human body recognition; hand recognition
- Color recognition: single-color recognition; multiple colors recognition
- UI development: touch display coordinates; buttons; sliders; chart display
- Autonomous training model: supports using an online cloud training platform of Canaan’s official website to train models for recognition-result output via serial communication

Details

Build edge‑AI vision and IoT demos on the Kendryte K210 (RISC‑V) platform with an onboard 2.0‑inch capacitive touch display.

A full kit for learning and prototyping: AI acceleration on K210 plus camera, touch UI, and starter resources for faster bring‑up.

Choose a package with a TF card if you plan to store larger vision models and example resources on removable storage.

K210 hardware acceleration enables on‑device inference with up to 1 TOPS equivalent AI compute for embedded vision tasks.

Run common recognition demos such as QR/barcode reading and character recognition directly on the board display.

Interactive touch controls—buttons, sliders, and coordinate feedback—make it easy to prototype on-device user interfaces.

Integrated peripherals—2MP camera, WiFi, digital mic, 8Ω 1W speaker, 6‑axis sensor, and TF slot—support vision + multimedia builds.

Develop in C or MicroPython using provided examples and source code to accelerate custom AI applications.

Use CanMV or VS Code across Windows/Linux/macOS for coding, running demos, and serial interaction.

Clear pin and component labeling helps when wiring external modules through the header pins and onboard interfaces.

Step‑by‑step tutorials and project lists are included to guide setup, demos, and feature testing.

Tutorial documentation and a set of MicroPython example scripts are provided to help you get started with the K210 AI-Motion kit.

The K210 course learning route outlines C and MicroPython environment setup, basic experiments, AI vision work, and IoT practice.

K210 specs list a RISC‑V dual‑core CPU with FPU, built‑in KPU for AI workloads, 8MB SRAM, and QVGA/VGA vision modes.

The AI‑Motion K210 developer kit includes a 2.0-inch LCD touch screen, 2MP camera port, WiFi module, microphone, speaker, and onboard control keys for setup and testing.

The kit supports FreeRTOS and RT-Thread development in VS Code or CanMV, and runs on a DC 5V input with over 1A current.

The Yahboom K210 developer board measures 100×70 mm with a 17.5 mm thickness for planning enclosure fit and mounting.

The Yahboom K210 developer kit ships with the board, packing box, Type-C data cable, and instructions manual, with an optional TF card reader.

The K210 developer kit pairs a compact camera module with a 2.0-inch touch LCD and accessible header pins for prototyping.
