Overview
The Yahboom infrared remote controller is designed for smart cars/robots and development boards. It uses a standard ~38K infrared carrier (38K modulation) to work with many common IR receivers. Two styles are available: a Regular version (thin body with flat buttons for basic control) and an Advanced version (recommended; thicker body with high-elastic rubber buttons for more sensitive control). Both versions include a built-in 3V button battery for long service life and easy replacement.
Key Features
- 38K-class IR carrier to adapt to a variety of infrared receivers on the market.
- Button-rich layout for robot car control and programming experiments.
- Stereoscopic keypad with soft feel and accurate induction.
- Built-in 3V button battery, designed for long time use and easy replacement.
- Code value support: button code values are provided, as well as infrared remote control code for the car.

Details

Choose between the slim Regular remote for basic commands or the Advanced remote with responsive rubber buttons for richer control.

The Advanced version adds acceleration, light/sound, and number keys while keeping the essential direction controls.

Works as a handy controller option across many Yahboom smart car and robot platforms that use common IR receivers.

Both versions use a replaceable 3V button battery for long service life and easy maintenance.

Tutorials and reference files help with wiring, testing, and reading IR key values during development.

Compact Regular remote fits easily on the bench and supports typical 8–10 m control range for projects.

The thicker Advanced remote improves tactile feel while keeping the same 38 kHz-class IR carrier standard.

Low-profile bodies sit comfortably in hand, with the Advanced version offering a taller button height.
