Overview Self-balancing Robot Car Chassis Kit for building and upgrading a two-wheel self-balancing robot car platform. The kit combines a rigid metal chassis with multiple expansion mounting holes, a closed battery protection box, an upper acrylic expansion platform, and 520 encoder reduction motors for robotics education, DIY builds, and smart car competition projects.
Key Features
2mm thick metal bottom plate for sturdy support and durability.
Bottom plate integrated design with motor bracket to simplify installation and adapt to 520 motors.
Multiple expansion mounting holes to support add-on modules (examples shown: K210 vision module, 4-channel tracking module, PS2 handle receiver, CCD camera module, electromagnetic tracking module, driver board, operational amplifier module, anti-collision copper columns).
Upper acrylic expansion platform made of 3mm thick acrylic plate , with mounting holes reserved (including lidar mounting holes).
Closed battery protection box designed to help lower the center of gravity and protect the battery.
520 encoder reduction motors with AB phase incremental Hall encoder feedback.
65mm wear-resistant rubber tires (anti-skid type indicated).

Function
Built-in pull-up shaping, the microcontroller can directly read the signal pulse
Encoder Output (description)
Phase difference between the two signals: 100° .
Motor rotation direction can be determined based on the order of the two signals.
Travel distance can be calculated based on the number of signal pulses per unit time and the tire circumference.
If only AB phase pulses per unit time are detected, motor speed can also be measured.
Example (1:30 reduction ratio): motor outputs 11 pulses per single-phase rotation; maximum output per output shaft rotation: (30*11*4)=1320 counts .
