Overview
Yunshis SM Series laser distance sensor modules are available in three models—PLS-SM10, PLS-SM30, and PLS-SM60—with measurement ranges of 0.08–10 m, 0.08–30 m, and 0.08–60 m respectively. They provide 0.1 mm resolution, 1 mm repeatability, and accuracy of ±1 mm + D*(1/10000), with a measurement rate of 1–5 Hz and minimum response time of 0.2 s (Max).
Measurement performance depends on target reflectivity and environment: indoors up to 60 m for targets with >=80% reflectivity, and up to 12 m for black paper cards (low reflectivity). Outdoors, due to sunlight interference, distance is up to 30 m for targets with >=80% reflectivity, and up to 60 m when using a dedicated reflector.
