Overview

The RDK S100(P) MCU Port Expansion Board (MCU interface expansion board) is the core expansion module for the D-Robotics RDK S100/S100P series development kit. It expands MCU interface functions for faster testing and development, integrating an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and supporting peripheral connections including Ethernet, CAN_FD, ADC, SPI, IIC, and UART. A dedicated FPC connector cable is used to provide stable, reliable high-speed signal transmission and to help reduce interference for critical data channels such as Ethernet and CAN_FD.

  • Integrated IMU: Bosch Sensortec BMI088, supporting communication control via SPI-5 serial bus.
  • One-stop MCU I/O expansion: Provides expansion for Ethernet, CAN_FD, ADC, UART, and other ports to connect sensors, actuators, and network devices.
  • Ethernet interface: Gigabit Ethernet connector (RJ45) shown in the topology diagram with RTL8211F (EMAC/RGMII path).
