Overview
The Kpower EM3 is a dual-axes robotic servo motor for companion robots, AI desktop robots and coordinated robot joints. TTL serial-bus communication enables independent control of multiple servos through one interface, with torque adjustment and real-time feedback. Weighing 9 g, it operates at 4.8–8.4 V and delivers 3 kg·cm stall torque at 8.4 V. An overload clutch provides gear protection during robot-joint operation.
Features
TTL Bus Control and Feedback
- Integrated TTL serial bus connects multiple servos through a shared cable and single interface.
- Independent servo control supports coordinated multi-joint movement.
- Force-controlled servo operation with precise torque adjustment and real-time feedback.
- Multiple feedback functions are supported.
- Recessed three-contact connector on the side of the housing.
Dual-Axes Construction and Overload Clutch
- Dual-axes robotic servo design.
- Overload-clutch disengagement and gear-clutch anti-impact protection for robot joints.
- POM gears, plastic housing and potentiometer position sensing.
- Brushed DC motor with carbon brushes described as long-life, plus high-strength, high-temperature-resistant magnetic construction.

Customization Requirements
Consult the supplier about travel-angle customization and requirements for wire length, control type and position sensor.
Applications
- Companion robots and AI desktop robots: coordinate several servo-driven joints through one TTL interface while retaining independent control and real-time feedback.
- Pet robot toys: use the 9 g servo for articulated movement, with an overload clutch to help protect joint gearing against impacts.
- Wheel-drive robot assemblies: control articulated mechanisms within the robot using shared-bus servo coordination.
- Eilik Smart Robot: suitable for robot-servo applications requiring the EM3's compact construction and overload-clutch mechanism.
