Overview
The FrSky NEURON II 80 is an 80A ESC designed to expand the NEURON lineup with more model options for different RC applications. It uses a fully enclosed, all-CNC machined aluminum case to support heat dissipation, and it provides real-time telemetry from built-in sensors to the radio via the receiver.
The NEURON II series supports FBUS and can transmit telemetry including RPM, power consumption, temperature, voltage, and current readings. Configuration can be done from the transmitter via the receiver using LUA scripts (ETHOS, OPTX radios), via wired S.Port connection to an ETHOS radio (available on ETHOS 1.5.0 and later), or through a PC configuration webpage using the STK tool.
Key Features
- All-CNC machined aluminum case for heat dissipation
- ESC & SBEC telemetry via FBUS / S.Port
- Telemetry (ESC): battery voltage & current (resolution 125 mA, precision ±2%), RPM, power consumption, temperature
- Telemetry (SBEC): output voltage & current (resolution 50 mA, precision ±2%)
- Adjustable SBEC output voltage and ESC parameters via LUA scripts (ETHOS, OPTX radios) or PC configuration webpage (STK tool)
- Supports signaling inputs for motor control: PWM, DShot, OneShot
- High-performance 32-bit microprocessor
- Over-temperature and over-current protection
