Reduction and Torque Reference
The following5 V/L6219 reference includes family ratios not offered as retail choices here. Output step angle refers to shaft rotation after reduction; the thread pitch is not specified, so these values do not establish a linear positioning increment or axial load rating.
| Nominal ratio : 1 | Exact ratio | Output step degrees | rpm at 1000PPS | Holding kgf.cm | Pull-out kgf.cm |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | 9.68 | 1.86 | 300 | 0.14 | 0.04 |
| 20 | 19.36 | 0.93 | 200 | 0.28 | 0.08 |
| 30 | 29.47 | 0.61 | 100 | 0.42 | 0.12 |
| 50 | 51.1 | 0.35 | 60 | 0.7 | 0.2 |
| 100 | 99.3 | 0.18 | 30 | 1.4 | 0.4 |
| 150 | 150.96 | 0.12 | 20 | 2.1 | 0.6 |
| 210 | 209.76 | 0.086 | 14 | 2.9 | 0.84 |
| 298 | 297.9 | 0.06 | 10 | 3.0 max | 1.2 |
| 380 | 379.16 | 0.047 | 8 | 3.0 max | 1.5 |
Reference phase current is 150 mA, phase resistance30Ω ±7% and phase inductance9.5mH. The table labels maximum self-starting frequency as more than1200PPS and maximum response frequency as more than900PPS. These differently labeled references do not establish a reliable guaranteed frequency ceiling; the application note gives an800–1200PPS context. Select a conservative start rate and acceleration profile for the actual load and driver.
Voltage and Thermal Guidance
| Test supply | Suggested drive PPS/Hz | Suggested drive current |
|---|---|---|
| 12.0 V | 1000 | ≤0.25 A |
| 7.4 V | 1000 | ≤0.15 A |
| 6.0 V | 1000 | ≤0.10 A |
| 5.0 V | 1000 | ≤0.08 A |
| 3.7 V | 700 | ≤0.07 A |
This thermal/application guidance is separate from the 150 mA-per-phase 5 V/L6219 parameter reference. Do not treat the two current references as the same test condition. The winding relation is supply voltage=back EMF+phase current×resistance; use a suitable stepper driver and current limit. For long operation, monitor heating and provide cooling or programmed stop intervals when required.
Wiring and Excitation
| Connector pin | Wire color | Phase |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | White | A+ |
| 2 | Black | B- |
| 3 | Red | A- |
| 4 | Yellow | B+ |
White/red form phaseA; yellow/black form phaseB. The sequence below shows the two-phase excitation reference; reversing the sequence reverses rotation. Confirm coil pairs and the selected driver before connection.
| Coil | Step1 | Step2 | Step3 | Step4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | + | - | - | + |
| B | + | + | - | - |
| A return | - | + | + | - |

Flange Nut and Mechanical Fit
The matching M4 threaded flange-nut reference has a 22 mm flange diameter, 10 mm body diameter, 12 mm overall length, 2 mm flange thickness, 8 mm thread-section reference and 16 mm mounting-hole spacing. Four mounting holes are3 mm diameter; the side drawing marks anM3 through feature. The nut is included only where named. Check thread fit and clearances before installing; no unsupported thread pitch, backlash or linear-force rating is promised.
Applications
Compact instrument adjustment, camera positioning mechanisms, small robotic mechanisms and other miniature positioning projects where step control, reduction gearing and a threaded output are suitable. A linear guide, carriage, complete robot, external controller and power supply are not included.
What's Included
- Motor Only: one selected ratio motor with itsM4 threaded shaft and four-wire lead.
- Open Driver: one motor and the pictured push-button driver board.
- Enclosed Driver: one motor and the pictured enclosed driver.
- Flange Nut: one motor and one matching flange nut.
- Flange Nut + Driver: one motor, one flange nut and one open driver board.
Driver versions, case and nut follow the selected package. Other packages do not include these accessories. The photographed open driver is marked STEPCON-V1.1 and 5–18 V at its power connector. This is a board input reference, not the motor phase-current rating; verify the actual board revision and current setting. PUL, DIR andEN labels are pictured, but detailed external signal levels and timing are not established here.
Installation and Operation
Support the mechanism so shaft loads remain suitable for the motor and gearbox; avoid overload and stall. Confirm screw clearance, coil pairs, current setting and mechanical fit before operation. Speed and torque depend on driver, supply, load and acceleration. Motor noise and heating vary with duty cycle. A bare motor requires a compatible bipolar stepper driver and a suitable supply.
FAQ
Does every option include the flange nut?
No. Only packages naming the flange nut include it.
Can I power the motor directly from a DC supply?
Use a suitable two-phase stepper driver. A bare motor is not wired like a brushed DC motor.
What is the linear travel per shaft revolution?
The shaft is specified asM4, but thread pitch and lead are not established here. Confirm them for your mechanism before calculating travel.
Is the 3.0kgf.cm limit an axial load rating?
No. It is a rotational gearbox-torque limit; it does not specify permissible axial thrust.
Are20: 1, 150: 1, 210: 1 and 380: 1 sold in this listing?
Those are family reference ratios in the parameter table. The selectable ratios are10: 1, 30: 1, 50: 1, 100: 1 and 298: 1.
