Key Features

Formation Flight and Remote Take-off/Landing The TD5 is equipped with a multi-helicopter coordinated TT&C data link and ground control software capable of managing multiple helicopters from a single control station. It supports remote startup, formation pattern planning, safety distance warning, high-accuracy positioning, and terrain clearance measurement. With its large-capacity emergency battery and various remote control functions such as voice prompts and pre-programmed timing control, the TD5 excels in executing complex missions.

Low Observability and High Maneuverability The TD5 features rotor blades made of wave-transmitting materials and a multi-stage noise reduction and bleed air cooling and exhaust system. Its compact fuselage design and sky gray coating enhance its low observability. Lightweight, high-efficiency rotors, a sophisticated control system, and a compact tail wing contribute to its high maneuverability.

Dual-Redundancy Configuration and High Safety Powered by a highly cost-effective aeroengine and built with a glass fiber fuselage and aluminum alloy airframe, the TD5 includes integrated navigation equipment. It boasts multiple safety features such as dual-antenna differential heading and geomagnetic heading measurement, dual-redundancy sensor configuration, onboard emergency power supply, and a nearest forced landing policy, ensuring safe and stable flight in diverse environments.

High Loading Capacity and Multi-Mission Capability The TD5's low operating empty weight allows for a high loading capacity. It can carry payloads up to 100 kg and fly for over 2 hours in plains, making it ideal for cargo transportation, agriculture, forestry, plant protection, captive flight tests with heavy equipment, and reconnaissance and strike missions. It includes space for large payloads, multi-channel 28 VDC power supply interfaces, and payload TT&C communication interfaces, supporting rapid reloading and strong multi-mission capability.

Intelligent Control and Easy to Use The TD5 features a high level of intelligent control, equipped with various sensors and situational awareness equipment. It can implement nearest forced landing, avoid no-fly zones, and respond to gusts. The smart ground control station, LoS data link, BeiDou short message, 4G/5G mobile communication, and ground control software ensure comprehensive flight process monitoring. This system is user-friendly and cost-effective in terms of operation and maintenance.
